Olena believes education is the foundation of excellence. Throughout her career, she has continuously invested in advanced education from internationally recognized educators and academies, allowing her to bring world-class techniques directly to her guests.
With more than 15 years of experience, Olena has trained with some of the world's most respected educators and academies. Her education includes the Kyiv Academy of Hairdressing Art, a four-month Vidal Sassoon precision-cutting and advanced color intensive at T-LAB Academy, advanced Airtouch certification under the technique's founder Vladimir Sarbashev, and certification as an Invisible Bead Extensions® (IBE®) Artist. Her makeup training spans ITM Paris – École de Maquillage and Make-Up Atelier Paris with founder Hélène Quillé. Every service Olena creates is customized to protect the long-term health and integrity of each client's hair.
Because the beauty industry is constantly evolving, Olena continues attending advanced education, masterclasses, certifications, and international industry events to ensure every client receives techniques that reflect the highest professional standards.
PERSONAL BIO
Olena began her professional career in the beauty industry in 2008, quickly establishing herself as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and brow artist in Ukraine. Long before relocating to the United States, she built an impressive career in editorial styling, luxury bridal beauty, fashion photography, and salon artistry.
Working alongside photographers, designers, models, celebrities, entrepreneurs, television personalities, and brides, Olena developed an eye for detail that extends far beyond beautiful hair. Her work regularly appeared in professional beauty publications and editorial projects, where perfection under the camera became second nature.
Bridal artistry quickly became one of her greatest passions. Because weddings are celebrated throughout the week in Ukraine, Olena often styled five to six brides every week, giving her extensive experience creating timeless, camera-ready hair and makeup that remained flawless from the first photograph until the final dance.
In 2014, following the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Olena relocated to the United States and courageously rebuilt her career from the ground up. Through perseverance, continuous education, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, she established herself as one of West Michigan’s respected beauty professionals and fulfilled her dream of opening her own luxury salon. Olena is the founder and owner of the Farba House of Beauty salon.
